On the occasion of his 40th birthday Vasko Vassilev composed his life story and arranged it in a book. The story was recorded and brought to life by his personal assistant Petya Ivanova. The writer and artist Vanya Stereva edited the notes.

In this enriched edition of the book readers will hear Vaskos voice as he narrates the story in English and Bulgarian. The mobile book also includes videos, photos and music, performed by Vasko.

Who is Vasko Vassilev

Vasko started playing violin at the age of 5 and at the age of 8 he released his first LP record with the Sofia Philharmonic Orchestra. As a teenager he won major international violin competitions – Jacques Thibaud in Paris, Carl Flesch International Competition in London and Paganini Competition in Genoa, Italy.

From the age of 19 he appeared frequently as guest concertmaster of top London orchestras including London Symphony Orchestra and the London Philharmonic Orchestra.

Aged only 19, he began to mentor the brilliant Vanessa-Mae.

At 23, he became the youngest leader and first ever Concertmaster of the Royal Opera House in London, where he continues to work today.
